That's difficult to say, because I feel satisfied most days. It's one of my goals.
There have been a few moments where I've felt VERY satisfied. I don't think I can pick a single moment...
- My 30th birthday in March. Brian had just proposed (and so wedding planning hadn't really started yet) and I went for a run. (During the day, which was sunny and warm, and I had taken the day off from work.) I felt content and lucky that day. We went to dinner and drinks with Lane and Brent that night and I got a little tipsy. Being with best friends, still giddy from my proposal, on my birthday...it was a great day.
- The first time I went to Guatemala, I was in awe. As we took the boat across Lake Atitlan, I wouldn't have changed anything--and in that moment, I was blissfully happy and satisfied.
- Brian and I went down to the waterfront for my new planned "cheat" system. (Meaning that instead of restricting what I eat for months and then bingeing, I'm going to plan smaller intentional "cheats" for foods I really enjoy and see if that's helpful.) We sat on the waterfront, like we did when we were first dating, and I nursed that ice cream cone for 20 minutes. It was delicious. It was a beautiful day. I felt like there was hope for me to make progress with my eating and get to a more balanced place.
So those are some examples of when I've been most satisfied. That's a tough question--who would have just one moment?
