Top 5 Pet Peeves

Pet Peeves are a funny thing.

Especially when you're trying to be positive and grateful. Hah.

Ah, well. In the spirit of the 30 day blog challenge, I'll do it.

1. RIDICULOUS DRIVERS

This includes:
-Cutting me off and then driving slowly
-Driving ridiculously slow in the fast line
-Driving ridiculously quickly OR slowly in inclement weather
-Not pulling over if you don't know where you're going
-Driving slowly towards a yellow light so that only you and you alone can sneak through
-Anyone that does not know blatant rules such as who has the right of way, etc.

2. Entitled & Lazy People

This includes parents and kids. I know, kids are a product of their environment. But still. I can't.

Always wanting more, nothing is ever enough. The type of people you jump through hoops for, and there's not an ounce of gratitude. They hold you to standards that they are not expected to live up to, yet you must. People like this make me bat shit crazy.

3. Skinny People Who Give Me Weight Loss Tips

"Do you exercise?"
"I just stopping drinking soda and lost 10 pounds!"
"Maybe you should try Weight Watchers."
"Do you watch what you eat?"
"Have you tried Atkins? Paleo? Vegetarian? Juicing?"
"Just eat a little less."
"I forget to eat sometimes!"
"I gained 5 lbs. my freshman year. So I used to be fat too!"
"I think you've lost enough now."
"Ugh. I haven't lost any weight this week. I shouldn't have eaten those three pieces of cake."
"I haven't worked out in a year. I don't know how you do it."
"Are you STILL doing that healthy thing?"
"I tried to give up donuts once, and I just could NOT do it!"
"Maybe if you obsess about it less. I don't count calories and look at me!"

4.  People who thrive on drama & enjoy others' pain

This I cannot tolerate. People that are mean or critical just for the sake of doing it. Or those who make life difficult for others just for shits and giggles. I think there is a special place in hell for those that enjoy another's misery.

Everyone hurts someone at some point. Nobody is perfect. But to be cruel or torture someone for your own amusement is sick and disgusting to me.

5. Lack of fore-thought & planning

When a plan is coming together, and issues can be avoided with a minimal amount of planning, why would someone leave it to the last minute and neglect to think about it? When things go awry because someone didn't plan properly, that makes me crazy. I'm not a fan of avoidable complications. Life is complicated enough without making it more difficult.

That's a little bit about me. I sound a little judgmental, I guess. But you wanted the truth--so there it is. Sorry I'm not sorry.
